KLCC book fair

Went to KLCC for the international chinese book fair. Urgh... need to pay RM2 for entry.

Walk inside the hall.
Two man stopped me.
One of them take out a red laser and point at my eyes. WTF?
Then paste a red circle on my shoulder...
Then they lost interest in me and went away
Left me there dumbstruck.

Go to ticket counter..
"Are you below 18?" (Below 18 can go in for free)
"Do I looked like below 18 to you?"
*speechless*


You should buy this book and leave it on table at work for everyone to see.

Bought 2 books. Damn.. I shouldn't left so much money in my wallet and go to such places.

Me: Give him RM50 x2

Me: ?? Take out RM1 give him. (傻了。放空 ing......)
Cashier: RM57.10
Me: ??? Take back 1 piece of RM50 from his hand.
Cashier: RM57.10
Me: ???? Give back the RM50. Give him 10 sen.
Cashier: okay.

My brain suddenly hang and cant process what he tried to convey. Exhausted from work? Dangerous especially while buying stuff.

So long never watch movie. Finally I break this no movie spree for... 3 months?
Wanted to treat myself with the 3D version. But somehow ended up with 2D normal version. Nice also. It doesn't matter much. The story is the king.

Pixar still rocks.This film is more meaningful than wall-e and finding nemo for me. Matching my current situation.

8 things you shoud know about a programmer's lifestyle

Just for fun. They don't represent any company or job, including my employer. ;)

1. "Working hours" in the contract is nothing.
2. "Lunch hours" in the contract is nothing.
3. Internet connection is nothing.
4. What you have learnt from university is nothing.
5. What you earn is nothing..much. (at least for a fresh graduate)

6. LCD is something. You would notice the difference after staring at it for whole day.
7. Coding style is something.
8. You would hate to read/see/listen/think about anything that merely resemble programming after work, if you didn't hate it yet. =)
