Medical

Friend sent me a link to a Malaysian Doctor's blog. Fuh. There goes my whole night and half of the next day. Browsing, reading, exploring through more and more life stories and experience of being a medical student and House Officer(something like intern[?]).

Sleepless. Tiring. On-call. Pull out babies O&R. Take blood sample. ER. Consult 100 over patients everyday at the Government clinic. Wonderful experience. Now I realize Grey and House is somewhat different. The latter is more lean to internal medicine while the other is about surgery(besides sleeping with everyone).

Would it be that much fun for others to read about computer science subject? Caesar Cipher(nono, not Caesarean section!), Software project management, Waterfall model(nothing to do with physics and sightseeing), COCOMO(nothing to do with tooth paste), Software engineering(IMHO fancy way of saying programmer), etc etc.

Hmm.. there's a little urge to drop my final year project and coming final exam and give in to the medical field. xD

Presentation

Write some points on a piece of paper. But didn't even look at it. Sometime my tongue would tied up. But overall should be sufficient to convey the information to the two lecturers. Maybe conducting the lab helps.

"Just record what you said and put it into report."
Then it would just be 20 pages.

Less one burden. Now what's left is the report. Need to add in a lot of details. So torturing to squeeze out words and vomit them to the word processor. Sigh.. Why don't just do the application.

Presentation

The last day of the class for that subject is group presentation. About making improvement to the selected web site. Bla bla bla.. Stupid web programming assignment..

Someone put a java or whatsoever animated clock and call it an improvement. lol?

And someone put a forum with matching theme etc etc. Lecturer say you just put a link and use existing code. lol?

Put a feedback form. Lecturer say about impersonation and spamming problem. lol?

But I agree there's a flaw in our project. Need to fill in our name and email again when submit feedback even though the user already login, which has all the information stored in database during registration.

He asked about impersonation and spam. It does not matter because attacker can register under someone name to spoof anyway. And I claim it is an optional field. And provide it as a privacy option. In case the user does not want to disclose his/her real identity when submit question/feedback. Our web site is medical related, thus the privacy factor.

I shoot back 9 9. "Well, in medical, privacy is an important factor. Let's say I have psycho problem. I don't want to ask question under *beep* and want to write under *nickname* right?"

Phew.. "song". Feel so relieved and satisfied. I have learn to fight back. Else the anger would risen and erode your soul afterward, which happen to someone else. lol. Can't take away the smiley from my face.

The water level increase up to half of the car tyre. Try not to stop the car in the middle of the water.

Yet another paranoid movie about computer AI trying to wipe down human being for better world...

From what we studied in computer security and so on and so forth. It's not really suitable for real world use yet. Those biometric authentication is easy to be fooled. Computer can be fooled by a chopped hand, contact lens iris or even just a photo of the person. Well, it's improving, but not really time to get paranoid yet I guess. Unless the government is hiding something etc. Bla bla bla. Whatever.

Something similar to terminator, I Robot, Wall E. How come the main computer need to be a big eye ball or big wheel? LOL.

I agree something interesting going to come when the traffic camera, etc etc is networked together. Surveillance. Privacy. Terrorist. Bla bla bla...
